Thank you for taking the time to look through my website - I hope some of my images make you look twice.
Creating and maintaining this website is a great experience as it allows me to sort through my work and properly curate what I'm doing and why. Something often forgotten by many.
My aim is to go somewhere I've never seen photographed or a view nobody has been bothered to lug all the gear to. Exploring, in a photographic sense, the landscape of Scotland from a new perspective.
I also enjoy the element of seeing somewhere that others may have been in a different way. It's not always possible in locations such as Glencoe, for example, but with a little more effort than others I can sometimes find that alternative perspective.
Let's face it, it's also a great excuse to be in beautiful places doing something that I love. There is nothing like being on the side of a hill, or rocky promontory with the light from the sunset (or rising if I can manage to get out of bed) creating the most beautiful colours. All there for me to capture.
The art of creating images of places that have not been seen before, or from a different perspective, is why I chuck a rucksack on my back and wade through mud.
Please feel free to contact me for any purchases (see the link above).
